These matches will be played in different venues in the UAE. The selected four teams will then move forward to the eight top teams of the T20 World Cup. The next round will consist of 30 matches. First-round will be on October 17 and the second will start on October 24. The 12 teams now selected will be divided into two groups of six teams. All these matches will be played in venues of UAE including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Next will be the three playoff matches, two semi-finals, and the last final that will occur on November 14.

The IPL 2021 was also postponed due to the rise in covid-19 cases and deaths in India. So the remaining matches of IPL 2021 will start from the mid of September and will also hold in UAE. This is the good decision taken by BCCI and ICC for overcoming the wastage of time and money. At this moment, still, the BCCI has to provide an official written statement to ICC for the shifting of World Cup 2021 to UAE. But it is finally decided to occur in different venues of UAE.
